Product Description

The Bianco dual submersible pump controller is without a doubt the best comparable product on the market.

It has multiple features that just aren’t available in other products. These features ensure that if there is any fault it will automatically take action to protect your valuable equipment.

Bianco is an Australian brand that is boasts a great range of products in it’s range. Having recently past the 10 year mark in Australia you can be sure they have a product to suit you in your application.

One of the hallmarks of their products, this one included is quality. And because of this they are fast becoming a favourite among home owners, builders, plumbers and construction workers.

The DPC1 pump controller is a 240 volt, dual pump controller. It is designed to work with two submersible pumps inside of a pit. What it does is it works of the level of fluid inside of a pit.

As the fluid level rises the controller senses that the pit is now in a state where it needs the pump or pumps to actuate and pump the fluid out to it’s desired location.

The controller requires float sensors inside the pit or tank to give it the information to be able to make decisions on what it needs to do.

It uses three floats to achieve this. When the first float is actuated, the controller will turn on one pump to remove the fluid from the pit and pump it out. If the pumps are sized correctly for the application this is normally enough to make that float sensor to drop back down. This in turn will make the controller stop sending power to the pump and turn it off.

In the event that the first pump is overcome the second level float will raise. This will tell the controller that the fluid is coming into the pit faster than the first pump can pump it out. In this scenario the controller will run both pumps to get more fluid out faster.

Again once each float lowers again the controller will turn off the two pumps. In the highly unlikely event that the third float is raised the controller will sound an alarm. Until all the floats have lowered again.

The controller is also able to sense if the pumps are wired wrong, if one or two of the pumps have failed either with a dead short  or if the pumps are jammed. It also runs the pumps in duty and stand by operation cycling between the two pumps to even out the wear on them making the pumps last longer.

The DPC1 is extremely versatile as it can work with any single phase pump that has a motor that is smaller than 2.2kW of 2,200 Watts. It can also be setup to run with automatic submersible pumps that have a float switch on the pumps themselves.

The controller also checks the current draw on the pumps and if the pumps start using less power it knows that there is no fluid for the pumps to pump and again turns the pumps off to protect them.

You can use any pumps with the controller which means that is works fantastically in either storm water retention systems or in a sewer pump out pit.

Bianco backs its controller with it’s normal exceptionally good nationwide warranties meaning if you have any issues with it can have it looked at and repaired for free inside the first two years.
