Product Description

The Onga or Pentair Water DW7535DR Water Switching System is one of the most highly sort after cross connection controllers in the domestic and commercial Australian markets.

The DW7535DR is a packaged up, complete solution with the Onga Water Switch and the Onga Dominator 75/35. The dominator is a high quality submersible stainless steel pressure pump which is unrivalled for it’s performance and reliability.

It is a multistage pump which means it utilises multiple impellers to achieve it’s performance. As the water passes through each impeller the pressure increases substantially. The design of the impellers and the quality manufacturing in this pump is what gives this system such high operating performance. All while being incredibly efficient and using very little electricity compared to it’s other competitors out in the market.

On the outlet of the pump there is a composite plastic and brass one way valve to stop what coming backing into the pump once it turns off. This feature is one of the many features that ensures the longevity of the pump. As the water leaves the pump under pressure, it passes through the non-return valve. Once this has occurred the water stays in the pipe between the pump and the controller. Over many years this reduces the load the pump needs to be put under as there is already water available to push through the system. This is one of the only pumps in the market that has this features what why it outlasts and outperforms by such a margin.

This also means that the power consumption can be less as the pump doesn’t need to work as hard.

The pump sits submersed in the water for its entire life span, while the controller is usually connected on the side wall of the building, close to the water tank. This allows for easy installation and access to the mains water supply. The pump and controller are connected with a power wire that usually runs through conduit, buried in the ground. If there is no water available from the tank at any point the Water Switch will automatically detect this and switch over to pressurised mains water supply.

It does this through the use of a float sitting in the tank along with the pump. The float is placed so it can tell the controller that the water level in the tank is low before the pump starts sucking air up into the system. It does this for a few reasons. First is so the end result of the system is beautiful seamless pressurised water for use in your toilets, washing machine and outside taps.

It is also setup this way to protect the pump from running dry which if done repetitively will damage the pump itself. The controller also has additional protection features so if something wasn’t to go according to plan it again will cut off to protect the pump and equipment.

This package can be installed in either an above ground or below ground water tank system. The pump produces enough pressure to be able to supply multiple taps and or outlets all at the same time in either scenario.

The Onga DW7535DR is as mentioned before a class leader and a name that the Australian market has learnt to trust over many years. Being part of this great brand, it is covered as with all of Onga’s products with an extremely comprehensive, nationwide warranty. Which is usable with an invoice through any of the Onga Dealer network.

It is also delivered through Australia with 4 Pumps for free, making this an even more attractive solution for Aussies.

"Dear 4 Pumps,

I purchased a pump off you mid Feb. Just wanted you to know best value for dollar ever. The little pump is working very hard in a factory pumping liquid with about 20% solids and hasn't missed a beat. Great pumps, thanks."
